MacIntyre in Warrington MacIntyre is a national charity offering education, care and support for children, young people and adults who have a learning disability and/or autism.

In Warrington we do this in lots of ways!

Come and join us for our wonderful Annual Apple Day Celebrations at New Routes Community Orchard Gardens – a lovely day celebrating our orchard, our community, traditional crafts, wildlife and the changing seasons. 🍏🍂
There will be something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day:
🍎 Traditional apple pressing – come and see apples freshly picked from our very own orchard being pressed on the day and discover how fresh apple juice is traditionally made.
🛍️ Artisan Craft Stalls – browse a wonderful selection of stalls filled with beautiful handmade crafts and locally made treasures. A lovely opportunity to meet talented makers, support small businesses and perhaps take something special home with you.

🎶 Live music & traditional folk singing throughout the day
🧶 Heritage craft demonstrations with our wonderful spinners and weavers
🌿 Guided foraging walks throughout the day
🐝 Cheshire Bees – discover more about our precious pollinators
🦔 Hedgehog Rescue – with a special talk about these much-loved garden visitors
🦋 Cheshire Wildlife Trust – sharing their knowledge and passion for our local wildlife
🦉Come and meet beautiful owls up close, a wonderful experience.
🧘 Wellness & Well-being area, including yoga sessions
🍂 Lots of fun children's activities to keep our younger visitors busy, exploring and connecting with nature
And, of course, no Apple Day would be complete without something delicious! 🍰☕
Our Orchard Tea Room will be open throughout the day serving refreshments and homemade cakes.
💷 Please note: refreshments and cakes are CASH ONLY.
Apple Day is one of our favourite days of the year – a chance to gather together beneath the apple trees, celebrate the harvest, enjoy traditional music and dancing, discover heritage crafts and old skills, learn about the wildlife around us and simply enjoy a lovely autumn day in the orchard. 🍎🌳🍂
Come and watch the apples from our orchard being pressed, wander amongst the artisan stalls, listen to the folk music, meet our craftspeople and wildlife groups, enjoy a slice of cake and soak up the atmosphere of our beautiful community orchard.
Bring your family, bring your friends and come and celebrate the apple harvest and the beginning of autumn with us. We would love to welcome you.
