Mental Health Awareness Week is a reminder that mental health isn’t always something we can see — and grief is often at the heart of that.
Grief can affect how we think, feel, sleep, connect, and move through everyday life. It doesn’t follow a straight path, and it doesn’t ask for permission before it shows up again.
If you’re grieving, you may be holding more than people realise. There is no right way to do it, no timeline you’re supposed to be on, and no pressure to “be okay” before you are ready.
You are allowed to take up space in your grief. You are allowed to still have moments of joy. You are allowed to be supported exactly as you are.
If this resonates, support is available. You don’t have to navigate it alone 🤍
