Why Lymphatic Drainage Is Always Full Body 🌿
I’ve had a few messages lately about stomach only, but here at sport & wellbeing we only ever treat full body but have you ever wondered why lymphatic drainage isn’t just focused on the area where you feel swollen or “puffy”?
That’s because your lymphatic system is a whole body network.
Unlike your circulatory system, your lymphatic system doesn’t have a central pump. It relies on movement, muscle contractions, breathing, and gentle external stimulation to help lymph fluid move through the body.
So when we perform lymphatic drainage, we work with the whole lymphatic pathway rather than simply treating one area, we need to think of this pathway like a river, if there’s blockages higher up the stream the flow is going to be slow and limited
✨ We want to:
• Encourage overall lymph flow
• Support the body’s natural fluid movement
• Work with the lymph nodes and drainage pathways
• Create a more balanced, full-body treatment
Another way to think of it like opening the roads before directing traffic
A full body approach helps us work with your lymphatic system, not against it!
Your lymphatic system is connected, so your treatment should be too✨
