It’s nearly here! 🤵‍♂️👰‍♀️

Time to sign off for a few days to celebrate my son’s wedding.

They’ve been spritzing their ‘It’s nearly here!’ bespoke fragrance that we created together, around their space over the past couple of weeks. They love it ❤️

To have their scent around them during all the last minute preparations, creates a firm link between their fragrance and their special day and all the excitement that comes with it.

And they’re not the only ones who are excited! 😜

I’ll be back in the studio next week, after some built in recovery time …

When someone brings back aromatic gifts from afar, it seems rude not to create a little something as a thank you for them with it.

So, when my son and his partner returned from their visit to Japan with some Hinoki wood and Yuzu for me, I couldn’t resist creating a special fragrance for them.

Now have their own botanical scent memory to enjoy in their living space back in the UK.

Precious memories of a very special Japanese adventure.

But sshhh! It’s a surprise 🤫🫢😂

Our personality and character is often reflected in the botanicals that surround us in nature.

By capturing the essences produced by plants, flowers and trees, we can represent the true nature of an individual.

And create a natural, botanical fragrance to reflect an a couple’s unique scent story

A delicate heart containing notes of frangipani represents deep love and the new chapter in life that the recipients of this particular botanical wedding fragrance will begin next year.

But it has also been included in their scent story as a beautiful acknowledgment of their Hawaiian dream. It gives a deep, respectful nod to a charity over there that they are so passionate about, that they have become guardians of its cause.

It’s a beautiful inclusion to their overall scent story and a perfect representation of them and their day 🤵‍♂️👰‍♀️❤️

Another happy couple have decided on their very own custom made wedding space fragrance.

This one has resonated for them in a way the others didn’t because it represents so well the many aspects of them and how they want the feel of their day to be.

Because by delving deeper than finding the aromatics they simply like, we can reflect aspects of their personalities, their history together aswell as the style of their wedding day itself.

Their own unique story, told through pure and natural botanicals has created the most personal fragrance.

A precious scent memory that will be forever linked in their minds to their special day ❤️

It’s not often you have a double Emmy award winner and her lovely sister creating their own aromatherapy blends with you in your studio - but this week I did.

It was such a privilege to hold a beautiful joint blending session for them both, where they were each able to create fragrances that were very personal.

Most of all I loved that, although they chose some similar scents, they each responded in different ways to other notes, which made each overall fragrance quite distinct.

Just like them as sisters really - similar in many ways, but with their own individual characters and personalities 💖

Something a bit different today about life lately …

I had quite an amusing experience recently and I thought I’d share it.

Would you have been amused and let it go, or would you have sat firmly in the enraged camp? 🤔😂

As Monday’s go, it didn’t particularly get off to the best start.

Nothing huge happened, no great calamity or disastrous catastrophe, nothing major to report at all really. Yet not so long ago the day’s events would quite probably have set the tone for my whole week ahead – but not this time.
