One if our residents, Heather, was overjoyed to learn that she is going to be a grateful grandma ❤️
What made it even more special was receiving a 3D printed ultrasound picture of the baby. As Heather is blind. This incredible keepsake allowed her to gently feel the shape of her future great-grandchild and experience a precious connection in a truly unique way. Congratulations Heather on your wonderful news. We can't wait to hear all about your newest little family member

A Spanish Evening to Remember

This evening we were treated to an authentic Spanish experience complete with live flamenco dancers and a spectacular tapas grazing board.

The spread was a feast for the senses: marinated olives, cured salami, soft cheese-stuffed peppers, garlic artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh grapes and figs, crispy grissini, and a selection of mixed cheeses.

The atmosphere was electric with plenty of audience participation, bringing everyone into the spirit of the evening. The combination of passionate Spanish dancing and delicious Mediterranean flavors created a truly memorable night filled with warmth and authentic Spanish charm.

Today we had a visit from Angels Glasshouse and our talented residents have been busy creating beautiful fused glass coasters, each hand crafted with care and imagination. Designs include colourful meadow scenes, cheerful sunflowers, and charming beach huts, making every piece unique. We look forward to receiving our coasters after they have spent 12 hrs in the kiln. We have our teacups at the ready!

We had a fantastic time in the Cookery School baking home-made cheese and fruit scones
Our residents enjoyed getting involved with the baking process, from measuring ingredients to watching the scones rise beautifully in the oven. Once they were ready, everyone sat down to enjoy their delicious creations with a well earned cup of tea 🫖☕️

This week marks Afternoon Tea Week, and what a delightful celebration it has been! Our residents, families, and friends gathered together to enjoy a wonderful afternoon tea lovingly prepared by our talented in-house chefs
The menu featured a delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes that delighted everyone's taste buds. The bistro was absolutely buzzing with conversations and laughter creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was truly a lovely event to host, and seeing everyone enjoy themselves made it all the more special. Thank you to our amazing chefs and our wonderful Events Team for their hard work and to everyone who joined us for this memorable occasion!
