We had a Charity coffee morning in Aid of NAPA(National Activity Providers Association)it was lovely to see community and Clients from Victoria House attended the coffee morning lots of chat cake and music♥️

It’s our first church service in the month of August 🙏.

Our residents dressed up and gathered to worship in our Sun lounge, with Minister Shirley leading .

They all sang beautiful hymns and the minister prayed with everyone.

It’s a new month and a new day.
And our residents didn’t hesitate to share and talk about the things they were grateful for.

Today at Greenbanks we had a session where we asked our residents to tell us 5 things we didn’t know about them.

And Claudette didn’t hesitate to tell us about all the amazing things she’s done as a member of the YWCA (young women Christian association) and how’s she’s impacted other people’s lives.

She also spoke to us about kindness and helping others in the ways that we can👌.

A huge thank you to our staff member Shalindri who applied henna designs on our residents hands 🙌. The residents enjoyed choosing their designs and proudly showed them off, bringing smiles, conversation and a boost in confidence.

Another big thanks to Trina our unit manager who spent quality time baking some profiteroles dipped in dark chocolate 🍫 with Our lovely resident Geraldine. This encouraged independence and a meaningful one to one engagement.
It was a lovely day filled with laughs , creativity, Social interaction and memorable moments.

We were delighted 🤩 to welcome members of of ours local community with residents, family and friends for a wonderful Community lunch 🥗 filled with laughter, friendship and great memories.

Our nicely dressed tables set the scene for an afternoon of delicious food 🍱, homemade puddings 🍮, and fun filled activities.

The excitement continued with bingo, a raffle and some very happy prize 🥇 winners
