💖Together Thursdays!❤️

Always fun from start to finish! 🙃

This week along with their normal exercise session, the members enjoyed a game of “I trust my club Member”

Lavanya and Georgina were in the hot seat and safe to say! They really do trust their club members 😅🌻

Conversations were buzzing , laughter in the air and a cheeky dance or two… or Three … or four!

💜Looking for a lovely club to join on a Thursday afternoon?💜

Why not join our Together Thursdays group?

💪🏻Gentle exercise or activity, followed by a coffee, and great company in a warm and welcoming space.🫖

🌿The club is designed for individuals who would like to increase their independence, would benefit from a friendly, supportive social space or simply become more involved in their local community.
Overall, the club provides a safe and welcoming space that encourages connection, engagement, and positive wellbeing.🌿

Attendance is FREE.

Dementia isn't a single condition. It's an umbrella term for a range of symptoms caused by different diseases that affect the brain in different ways.

Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies and frontotemporal dementia are among the most common types of dementia. Because they each affect different parts of the brain, the symptoms can vary from person to person.

While memory problems are often associated with dementia, some people may experience changes in thinking, language, behaviour, concentration, movement or perception.

This guide highlights some symptoms linked to different types of dementia, but it’s also important to remember that no two people experience dementia in the same way.

By understanding the different signs of dementia, including those that are less well known, we can help more people recognise changes early and access a diagnosis and support sooner.

🩷The power of companionship ❤️

Mental and physical wellbeing go hand in hand.

One of our clients had lost confidence to do the things that they enjoyed.

💜With the right companionship and support, we encouraged them to enjoy activities again, get moving, spend time with family and, most importantly, have fun.

🩷It’s the little things that can make the biggest difference, a walk, a chat, a laugh, or simply holding someone’s hand and helping them feel safe.

💙Companionship can bring confidence, connection and joy back into someone’s life. ❤️

If you or a loved one need support, we’re here for you. 💙
