Back out visiting my lovely clients, catching up on all the news I’ve missed…

…and apparently trying to explain to this little fella that Highland Coo Whisperer was never going to be a full-time career option for me

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Foot Health by Jane will be closed while I temporarily retrain as a Highland cow whisperer. 🐮🏔️

I will be unavailable for all foot-related emergencies because I shall be busy:

🐮 Having deep and meaningful conversations with Highland coos
🏔️ Admiring views that don't include anyone's feet
🥾 Walking places where the only hard skin I see is on rocks
🌲 Switching off, slowing down and pretending I don't own a treatment bag

I'll be back from 16th September, when normal toe-related service will resume. 👣

Please try not to grow anything too exciting while I'm away.

✔ Which neighbour is annoying
✔ Which grandson is "a lovely boy"

🌸 My Feet And My Planters Have Something In Common
Neither got like this by accident.
A little regular attention goes a long way.
Which is true of feet.....and apparently flower planters.

I am delighted to announce that my planters have won the prestigious Alma Titchmarsh Cup of Wellingborough 2026. I founded the competition earlier this morning.

I was also judge and jury. Entry numbers were intentionally kept low. Mainly one.
Nevertheless, the standard was exceptionally high.🥰

Things People Say Before A First Appointment

A few things people say before a first appointment...
"I'm embarrassed about my feet."
(Please don't be. I haven't run screaming from anybody's feet yet.)

"It's only a little corn."
(That's what they all say.)

"My daughter told me to ring you."
(Daughters are remarkably difficult to argue with and are usually right. I know I am.)

"You'll probably tell me off."
(I would never tell you off. Your daughter might but I won't.)

The thing I hear most often after an appointment?
"I should have booked you sooner."

Due to a family bereavement, I’ve had to cancel and rearrange a few appointments recently.

I’m now starting to get my diary back in order and will be in touch over the next couple of days with everyone whose appointment was affected, to get you rebooked.
