We’ve got another fun-filled month planned with plenty of activities, entertainment, celebrations and opportunities for our residents to get involved. 🎶🎨🧩

As always, we’re open to suggestions, ideas and anything you’d love to see us include! 😊

What a fantastic week we've had! 🎉

We've been keeping our brains sharp with a few competitive games of Hangman 🧠✏️, while Stacey had everyone moving by disguising exercise as fun with Boxercise 🥊 and a lively game of Wack-a-Mole! 💥

The delicious smell of freshly made biscuits filled the air as everyone got busy baking 🍪, and we rounded off the week in the best way possible with a fun quiz, plenty of laughs, and of course, a well-earned Friday tipple! 🍷🥂

Here's to another week full of smiles, friendship, and making wonderful memories together. ❤️

🎉 A HUGE thank you! 🎉

A massive thank you to every single person who sponsored our fundraising event. Thanks to your incredible generosity, our amazing ladies bravely donated their hair, and our equally brave gentlemen endured being waxed – all for a fantastic cause! 💇‍♀️🕯️😂

We’re delighted to announce that together we’ve raised £100 for our Residents’ Activity Fund! 🎊

Your support will help us continue creating fun, meaningful activities and special memories for our residents. We couldn’t do it without our wonderful community, so thank you once again to everyone who donated, took part, and cheered us on. 💙

What a busy and wonderful couple of weeks we’ve had here at Acacia Lodge! 🌟

We were treated to an amazing visit from some super cute, friendly, and incredibly well-behaved animals, who brought plenty of smiles to our residents. Michelle's Animal Therapy & Petting Party

We were also delighted to welcome the lovely Vicar, who led a peaceful and meaningful Holy Communion service.

There has been no shortage of fun either, with plenty of word games to keep our brains active, competitive games of dominoes, and of course we’ve been cheering England on every step of the way! ⚽🏴

It’s been another fantastic couple of weeks full of laughter, friendship, and making wonderful memories together. 💙

🚨 The residents are gearing up… and so are the waxing strips! 😂🕯️

Everyone’s looking forward to Friday’s big event, where our brave (or should we say volunteered? 😜) men will be putting their body hair on the line for the Activity Fund!

If you’d like to help make them squirm just that little bit more, there’s still time to donate. Every penny goes towards activities for our wonderful residents—and every donation makes that next wax strip feel just a little more worthwhile! 😆💷

📅 Waxing will commence after lunch at approximately 1:30pm (13:30).

Come along, cheer them on, enjoy the laughs, and watch the hair-raising action unfold! Who’ll be the smoothest of them all? 😂👏

A huge thank you to all our wonderful residents, staff, and families who supported our fundraiser. We couldn't have done it without you!

What a fantastic week we’ve had! 🐾💙

We were delighted to welcome Diego the Therapy Dog, who, as always, brought plenty of smiles, cuddles, and happiness to everyone.

We’ve also been cheering on England and celebrating their fantastic wins together, creating a wonderful atmosphere full of excitement and team spirit! ⚽🏆

To keep our minds active, we’ve been putting our knowledge to the test with a fun quiz, which sparked lots of laughter and friendly competition.

Don’t forget, next week we’ll be holding our Sponsored Haircut & Wax fundraiser. We can’t wait to see everyone’s new looks while raising money for a great cause. Thank you for your continued support! 💙

🚨🔥 WARNING: Grown Men Will Be Screaming! 🔥🚨

On Friday 10th July, our incredibly brave (or slightly mad!) gentlemen will be putting their dignity on the line and getting WAXED... all for a fantastic cause! 😱🤣

Meanwhile, the ladies have somehow managed to negotiate a slightly gentler challenge... they're having 10 inches of hair chopped off to raise money for our care home, with every gorgeous lock being donated to the Princess Trust to help make wigs for people who need them. 💇‍♀️❤️

The men, however... don't get to donate anything except their body hair, pride, and possibly a few tears. 😂

💙 Please sponsor our amazing ladies and our fearless fellas! Every pound you donate will help make the pain (and the dramatic yelps!) worthwhile.

Come along and cheer them on, laugh with them (definitely not at them 😉), and see who survives the waxing with the most dignity intact!

After all... pain is temporary... but the videos on Facebook are forever! 😆
