As an Independent Funeral Director, it has always been important to us, to provide a compassionate, professional and personal service, no matter how simple, or not, a family wish their funeral to be.

This makes it all the more frustrating, when people are led to believe that online cremation packages are providing the same service. They are not.

We offer direct cremations, but the difference is that we still look after the deceased as we would anyone else - with care. Our direct cremations are all carried out locally, with ashes collected in a timely manner. Chapel of rest visits can also be agreed.

We have always prided ourselves on our friendly, personal and professional approach. It's a team effort from initial contact with the family, through funeral arrangements to the service itself.

On behalf of my family, I would like to thank you all for the care and attention you showed us while arranging Patricia’s funeral in Finedon on 27 March.

We were very impressed with how professionally everything was carried out without the slightest hitch. All the members of staff on the day were remarkably respectful and polite, and the hearse and cars were immaculate. The order of service booklet received many positive comments, and the flowers were beautiful. Those who joined us from near and far appreciated the refreshments and the chance to talk and reflect afterwards.

I will contact you in the autumn as regards the headstone. We thank you once again for all your help and advice.

We recently had the honour of conducting the funeral service of a beautiful baby girl, at .
The extra effort put in by the staff at the crematorium, to provide a personal, and meaningful display for such a sad occasion really impressed us. Thank you for helping to make this send off so beautiful.

Did you know that we supply silk flowers free of charge?

Whether you are on a budget, your loved one wasn't much of a flower person, or whatever your reason, we can supply silk flowers for the funeral service..

We have a choice of silk sprays for the tops of coffins and a large selection of letters, for names for the side of the hearse.

Berevement is tough at any time of life, but for children, there can be a lot of questions and fears that can be extra hard to deal with. The Seddon Legacy Project works with families to help them through.

As we head into the Christmas period, we would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and New Year.
This time of year can be very difficult for those who are grieving a loved one. We offer our sincere condolences to them and all our families who have trusted us over the years.
We are very proud of this year's window display and would like to thank Affleck Bridge Antiques for lending us the table and chair for our fireplace corner.

At Margaret Rose Funerals, we have always strived to do things a little differently, allowing a Celebration of Life, to be a personal service that suits each family and their loved one.
Recently, we conducted a service with a leopard skin and sparkly theme, and we were delighted to join in.
