This Wednesday, 12 August, the UK will experience a spectacular partial solar eclipse, with around 90% of the Sun covered by the Moon at its peak. It’s an incredible sight — but it’s also one that needs to be viewed safely. 👀

Whatever you do, don’t look directly at the Sun. Even during an eclipse, looking at the Sun without proper protection can cause serious and potentially permanent damage to your eyes.
