Don’t forget our Highmead Care Home Car Boot Sale is taking place on sat 22nd August from 10:00am! 🎉

Come along and browse for bargains, enjoy a friendly atmosphere, and support our wonderful care home community. We’d love to see as many people there as possible! 🛍️☕💕

Dear Families,

We would love to use our Highmead Care Home page more regularly to share the wonderful activities, celebrations and special moments that our residents enjoy.

Before we can post any photographs, we must have the appropriate consent from residents or their families.

If you are happy for your loved one to appear in photographs on our page, we kindly ask that you pop into the office to complete a photo consent form at your earliest convenience.

Hello everyone,

Highmead are looking to further strengthen our team and have the following vacancies currently:

- Senior night carer. This position is to work alongside two other carers and lead the shift. The working times are from 10pm to 8am.

- A part time role to support existing staff following feedback on the care required by our residents. We are looking to cover a 9am to 2pm shift Monday to Sunday and also a 6pm to 10pm shift, also on a Monday to Sunday.

- An additional domestic to strengthen the current team for 16 hours a week. Hours are 9 am to 1pm and would include working every other weekend.

Are you looking for a new role or challenge?

If so, then Highmead House could be the answer. We are looking to strengthen our team with two vacancies. The first is for an activity coordinator and the second for a domestic.

The activity coordinator role is for 10 to 15 hours a week (Monday to Friday) and will involve planning and delivering activities for our residents.

The domestic role is for 12 hours a week (3 shifts) and will include every other weekend.

Our elf on a shelf has been throughout the home and what a cheeky elf he has been. Here’s a few clips of his visit, the rest we were unable to publish but have made Santa aware 👍

Ahead of the special visitor tomorrow, our elf on a shelf has arrived and signed in at Highmead. We will keep you posted on his trip around the home to make sure all of our residents are on the good list 👍
