Here is my client’s review following her therapy for severe anxiety.
When Megan first came to see me, she felt that her anxiety was so severe that she would not be able to leave the house, return to work, or even watch football again.
Megan has since made significant progress. She is now back at work and is able to enjoy watching football again.
Severe health anxiety feeling I wouldn’t be able to leave the house / get back to work / go to watch football. I felt like I had no existence and was extremely anxious about it to the point I would wake up during the night and not be able to go back to sleep. I would come downstairs and sometimes pace to try and calm down. I can’t explain how low I felt and the constant anxiety I felt within my chest was awful, a constant doom feeling that I just wanted to go
Speaking to yourself I have gained more confidence in myself and I try to now live for the day not worry about tomorrow and that has helped massively. I am more aware of what I say to myself and try to be kinder to myself.
I am back at work and confident again in my job, I go to watch football again which I never thought I would be able to do as never thought I could feel the emotions that come along with football. It was as though I was numb to being happy / laughing.
I am really thankful I had therapy with you to gain my confidence and I can control my anxiety alot more and I am more aware of how I feel now and have the tools to be able to deal with things as and when they happen
Thank you
