⚽🏆🇬🇧 Football-Themed Lift Disco 🇬🇧🏆⚽

What a fantastic football-themed lift disco we had at our care home! Residents enjoyed an afternoon full of music, dancing, laughter, and football fun as we got behind England and sang “It’s Coming Home” after England win in the 2026 World Cup. 🎶🦁

There were England flags, football decorations, fun glasses, and plenty of smiles as everyone joined in the celebrations. The lift disco created a wonderful atmosphere, with residents singing along to their favourite tunes and sharing their excitement for the tournament. 😎⚽🎉

It was lovely to see everyone coming together, making memories, and enjoying the football spirit. A great time was had by all, and we’re already looking forward to cheering on England ♥️👀

🌟 Care Home Open Week day 3 – A Day Full of Smiles and Achievement 🌟

As part of Care Home Open Week, our residents Oaktree Court Care Home enjoyed a fantastic day of sporting challenges, including football, golf putting, tennis, and tabletop skittles. The day was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of encouragement as everyone took part and challenged themselves.

More than just games, the activities brought back memories, built confidence, and created opportunities for residents to come together, support one another, and celebrate their achievements. From carefully lined-up golf putts to cheering each other on during football and tennis challenges, every moment was enjoyed.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles and hear so much laughter throughout the day. These are the moments that make our home such a special place, and Care Home Open Week gives us the perfect opportunity to celebrate the joy, friendship, and sense of community that we share every day.

Well done to all our residents for their enthusiasm and determination – a fantastic day was had by all! ⚽⛳🎾🎳💙

Hydration Day at Oaktree Court Care Home 🍓🍉🍊

During care home open week this morning residents enjoyed a selection of fresh fruit, including watermelon,grapes pineapple and other healthy snacks, alongside a variety of refreshing drinks and flavoured waters. The colourful display of fruit and refreshments was well received and encouraged everyone to think about simple ways to increase their fluid intake, especially during the warmer weather.

Hydration plays an important role in maintaining good physical and mental wellbeing, and the day served as a reminder of how small changes, such as drinking enough fluids and eating water-rich foods, can have a positive impact on overall health.

Today we kick off Care Home Open Week with our amazing Interactive Table! 🌟

Residents this morning are enjoying a variety of fun and engaging activities, from interactive games and quizzes to reminiscence experiences and group challenges.

The interactive table brings people together, encourages conversation, supports wellbeing, and creates plenty of smiles along the way. 😊

At Oaktree Court, we believe that care is about so much more than support, it's about helping people continue to enjoy the things that bring them happiness, purpose, and a sense of who they are.

Recently, resident Beryl was given the opportunity to reconnect with a lifelong passion, allowing her to immerse herself once again in something that has brought her joy throughout her life. It was a truly special experience and a wonderful reminder of the importance of celebrating every resident's unique interests and life story.

We're proud to work alongside our residents to create meaningful moments, support individual passions, and ensure life continues to be lived to the fullest.
