A little sneak peek inside the play therapy room…

Play therapy gives children a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings through play, using things like art materials, sensory resources, puppets, small-world play and lots more.

Meet the Therapist

Hi, I'm Lucy, the Play Therapist at Cornerstone Counselling.

I provide a safe, welcoming space where children can express themselves through play, helping them to explore their feelings, process difficult experiences and develop healthy ways of coping. I work with children experiencing a range of emotional challenges, including anxiety, bereavement, family changes, low confidence and emotional regulation difficulties.

Every child is unique, so I tailor my approach to each child's individual needs, building a trusting therapeutic relationship where they can feel safe, accepted and understood.
