Dear Patients,
We are aware that many patients are waiting longer than they would like for a routine appointment, and we recognise the impact this can have. Our practice team share your concerns, and we are continually reviewing how we can make the best use of our available appointments. We are currently recruiting for an additional Doctor three days a week, which will help increase appointment capacity and improve patient access levels.

For acutely unwell, medical problems, please submit an urgent triage request via our practice website. This is often the quickest way for our clinical team to assess your needs. If you're unable to do this yourself, our care navigation team can help over the phone, although this may take a little longer during busy periods.

Sore Throat Test and Treat (age 5+)

Urinary Test and Treat for women and transgender men aged 16-64 (who are not pregnant or catheterised). Many patients can be assessed and treated more quickly through these services without needing a GP appointment. Please take a urine sample along with you and be mindful that the pharmacist may be on lunch between 1pm โ 2 pm.

If you have a minor injury, you may be able to receive treatment more quickly through the Victoria Memorial Hospital Minor Injury Unit in Welshpool. The service can assess and treat a range of injuries, including:
