Not all baby products are safe for sleep.
The Lullaby Trust’s Safer Sleep Essentials posters make it simple for families to see what their baby truly needs — and what’s best avoided.
Clear, evidence‑based guidance helps reduce the risk of SIDS and supports safer sleep routines.

World Book Day is a celebration of books, stories, and the joy of reading. It’s all about inspiring children to discover new adventures through books and encouraging a lifelong love of reading! Let your children join in with resources from our friends at World Book Day! Children can design their own personalised bookmark- drawing characters, adding features, and making something they’ll love using every day. It’s a low-cost, imaginative way to spark creativity and build positive connections with reading at home, in school, or in the community.

Our Patient experience Team recently carried out two clinic visits, hearing directly from parents and young people about their experiences with our Children and Young People’s Integrated Therapy service. Here’s what they shared:

“My child’s experience with the occupational therapy intervention has been good. The sessions have helped him in his day-to-day life. Overall, the service and the therapist are doing well!”

The National Deaf Children’s Society and Family Fund have launched a new UK‑wide programme to support families with deaf children aged 0–11 (or still in primary school).
This new initiative offers grants for:

💬 British Sign Language (BSL) courses
🎧 Assistive technology and specialist equipment
💻 Computers and tablets to support communication and learning
The programme is designed to help deaf children communicate more confidently and take part fully in everyday life, education and play. Applications are open now — but funding is limited, so families are encouraged to apply soon!
