Meaningful change starts with listening.

Our Relationship Business Partners recently attended the Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller (GRT) Conference 2026 in Luton to connect directly with local communities, celebrate culture, and explore how we can better tackle health inequalities together.

Listening to people’s lived experiences is essential to delivering accessible and equitable healthcare. Events such as the GRT Conference remind us that meaningful improvements begin with understanding the needs of the communities we serve.

A special thank you to the Luton Irish Forum for organising the event, as well as everyone who visited our stand and shared their experiences.

Today is Samaritans Awareness Day, a date chosen intentionally because help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7).

If you or someone you love is going through a difficult time, please remember that reaching out is a sign of strength, and there is an entire network of people ready to listen without judgment.

No matter what you are facing, support is just a phone call or text away. Save these numbers, share them with a friend, or keep them handy for whenever you might need them. Let’s look out for one another.

Our Relationship Business Partners recently attended the BLMK & Northamptonshire Community Pharmacy Event. It was a brilliant day of sharing feedback on NHS 111 pathways, discussing Pharmacy First, and finding new ways to work together to support patients across our region.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to chat, and to Anne-Marie King and the event organisers for such a warm welcome!

🦷 Help shape the future of urgent dental care in Devon

HUC Dental has launched an enhanced urgent out-of-hours dental service across Devon – improving access to timely, high-quality care for patients when they need it most.

The service has been redesigned following feedback from dental professionals and partners, with a focus on creating a more resilient model that supports both clinicians and the communities we serve.

As part of these changes, we have:
✅ Worked with our partners to ensure high-quality clinical environments for patients and dental teams
✅ Reviewed rota arrangements to create a more sustainable and resilient service
✅ Strengthened opportunities for dentist peer support and collaboration

We’re now looking for self-employed dentists who would like to play a key role in delivering urgent dental care across Devon.

Whether you’re looking for additional sessions alongside your existing commitments or want to be part of an evolving NHS dental service, we’d love to hear from you.

A huge congratulations to Dr Kasim Siddique, who recently graduated medical school!

joined HUC at just 16 years old and has taken on vital roles, including Senior Shift Manager, Despatcher, and Health Advisor. He balanced these responsibilities while studying medicine full-time, and all that hard work has finally paid off.

“I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone at HUC for all of their support over the years. I truly don't believe this achievement would have been possible without the encouragement, guidance, and opportunities HUC has given me since I was young. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of my journey and helped me reach this milestone,” says Kasim.

Please join us in wishing Dr Kasim Siddique a massive congratulations! We are so incredibly proud of you, Kasim!
