Care Herts

Care Herts We believe the best place to grow older is at home. Our goal is empowering people and support them to remain in their own home managing age related challenges.

For over 12 years, we've been providing high-quality home care while helping communities stay active, healthy, and connected through exercise, music, dementia support, and wellbeing programmes. An Extension to Concept of care

Care Herts limited was first established in year 2013 with the aim of providing home care support to the individuals in Hertfordshire. Over the period of time, we have s

upported hundreds of people. We became finalist for most innovative care team in Hertfordshire twice 2017 and 2021. Also won finalist for best carer award year 2018.

Our Commitment to the Community

At Care Herts, caring extends far beyond providing home care. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to live a healthy, active, and connected life, regardless of where they live or their circumstances.

As part of our social responsibility, we deliver free and low-cost community wellbeing programmes in areas where people have limited access to activities that promote health, happiness, and social connection. These include music and memory sessions, chair-based strength and balance exercises, gentle movement and wellbeing classes, cognitive stimulation activities, and enjoyable social events designed to bring people together.

Our programmes help reduce loneliness and social isolation, improve physical strength and mobility, support mental and emotional wellbeing, and encourage people to remain active, independent, and engaged within their communities.

By working in partnership with local organisations, community groups, and healthcare professionals, we aim to make these opportunities accessible to everyone—particularly older adults, people living with dementia, those with disabilities, carers, and individuals who may otherwise miss out due to financial, social, or geographical barriers.

At Care Herts, we are proud to invest in our communities because we believe that stronger, healthier communities are built by caring for one another.

Care Herts - Sri Lanka
Company with a caring hearty 🧡

It is truly an amazing feeling to take this first step with Care Herts Sri Lanka and to share these photos with you today.

Having been involved in elderly care in the UK since 2009, and running Care Herts Limited over 12 years, I have now decided to bring that knowledge and experience to Sri Lanka—to serve our mothers and fathers, who deserve far more than what is currently available.

This journey became deeply personal when I was searching for care for my own father last year. During that time, I witnessed many gaps and shortcomings in the system. Those experiences became the driving force behind my commitment to introducing true person-centred care in Sri Lanka.

Today, we are both happy and proud to announce that we have successfully completed our first Care Practitioner Training. We have nurtured a group of compassionate, kind-hearted carers who not only understand but truly feel the essence of person-centred care.

This is just the beginning.
