It’s been another busy week at Heath Lodge Care Centre ! 🎨🧩💜

Our wonderful residents have enjoyed a mix of activities, from colouring and jigsaw puzzles to relaxing walks in the garden and a competitive game of Knock the Cup. There’s been something for everyone, with plenty of chances to get involved and spend time together.

We love seeing our residents trying different things and making the most of the week 😊

There was plenty of creativity happening at Heath Lodge Care Centre ! 🎨💜

Shirley, Concepta and Jeanine enjoyed making colourful tissue paper hangings to decorate their rooms. They each chose their colours and carefully put their designs together, adding their own personal touches along the way.

The finished pieces looked lovely, and there was a real sense of pride when they saw what they had created. We think they’ll make a beautiful addition to their rooms 🌸😊

International Beer Day gave us a good excuse to make the most of the sunshine at Heath Lodge 🍻☀️

Our residents enjoyed sitting out in the garden with a refreshing beer, having a chat and watching the afternoon go by. There was plenty of laughter and good company, with everyone simply enjoying being together.

Sometimes it’s the simplest afternoons that make the best memories 💜

The sunshine made the perfect setting for an afternoon of garden bingo at Heath Lodge Care Centre ☀️🎱

Our residents enjoyed taking their seats outside, soaking up the fresh air while keeping a close eye on their bingo cards. There was plenty of excitement with every number called, and a little friendly competition along the way.

A big congratulations to Doreen Jennings, who took home the winning prize! Well done, Doreen 👏💜

Our wonderful residents at Heath Lodge Care Centre made the most of the beautiful sunshine during Gardening Club this week 🌱☀️

Jeanine, Concepta, Shirley, and Michelle enjoyed spending time together planting, getting their hands in the soil, and making the most of the fresh air. There was plenty of chatting along the way as everyone helped bring a little more colour to our garden.

Now comes the exciting part as we watch everything begin to grow! 🌸💜

Our wonderful residents from Heath Lodge Care Centre , Michael, Sharon, Nigel and James, enjoyed a wonderful summer day out to Southend-on-Sea 🌊💜

They made the most of the beautiful sunshine, taking in the seaside views and enjoying the fresh sea air. Of course, no trip to the coast would be complete without some classic fish and chips followed by a refreshing ice cream 🍦🐟

It was a lovely day filled with good company, happy conversations and memories to treasure 😊

A very happy 97th birthday to our lovely Dorothy! 🎂💜

We had a wonderful time celebrating Dorothy’s special day at Heath Lodge Care Centre with her family, our team and Home Manager Mihaela. There were plenty of smiles, happy wishes and special moments shared as everyone came together to make Dorothy feel celebrated.

It was a beautiful day filled with love and memories, and we hope Dorothy enjoyed every moment of her birthday celebrations 🎈💜

🎂 Happy 83rd birthday, Brian! 🎉

Recently, we celebrated Brian’s special day at Heath Lodge Care Centre, with his family, our lovely team and Home Manager Mihaela all joining in. There was cake, birthday cheer and plenty of fuss made of Brian, just as there should be!

It was lovely seeing everyone come together to celebrate such a special occasion. We hope you had a fantastic birthday, Brian, and that there are plenty more to come 💜🎈

July saw us celebrating a few of our favourite dates in the calendar, alongside all the everyday moments that make each month special 💜

We marked World Chocolate Day with a few well deserved treats, celebrated National Ice Cream Day with everyone's favourite flavours, and during , we took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful teams who make such a difference every day 🍦🍫

Alongside the celebrations, there were all the little moments that make each month what it is, catching up with friends, enjoying favourite activities and making the most of the summer days.

☀️ A beautiful moment in the sunshine at Heath Lodge Care Centre ☀️

Elsie enjoyed a peaceful afternoon relaxing on the garden swing and making the most of the sunshine. She had us all smiling when she jokingly said, "The sun's in me eyes!", a little moment that captured her great sense of humour 😊

It was lovely to see her enjoying the fresh air, the sunshine and a quiet moment outdoors 💜
