⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PATIENTS

Due to an issue with the water supply, Wembley Centre for Health and Care is currently closed to the public. The disruption is expected to continue for the remainder of this week (until 14.08.2026).

Please do not attend Premier Medical Centre, even if you have a scheduled appointment, unless a member of our team contacts you and specifically advises you to attend.

Where possible, appointments will instead be conducted by telephone. Our team will contact affected patients to advise them of the arrangements for their appointment.

We are sorry for the disruption and appreciate your patience and understanding while the issue is being resolved.

April is Stress Awareness Month, and this year’s theme is 💚

Stress doesn’t always look like what we expect. It can show up as:

• Ongoing headaches or back pain
• Trouble sleeping
• Changes in appetite or weight
• Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or irritable
• Palpitations or raised blood pressure

These are your body’s quiet signals asking for support.

✨ Being the change can start small: Take a pause. Check in with yourself. Make a difference by recognising your needs and reaching out if things feel too much.

If you’re experiencing persistent symptoms, our team is here to support you.

Ovarian cancer symptoms can sometimes be mistaken for everyday digestive or bladder issues 💚

Because the signs can be subtle, they are often overlooked or attributed to common conditions such as indigestion, bloating, or urinary infections.

Symptoms to be aware of include:
💚 persistent bloating
💚 pelvic or abdominal discomfort
💚 feeling full quickly or loss of appetite
💚 needing to urinate more often or urgently

These symptoms are common and usually caused by less serious conditions. However, if they are new, persistent, or occurring frequently, it is important to seek medical advice.

Getting checked can provide reassurance and ensure you receive the right care if needed.

If something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts and speak to your GP 💚
