Be face to face with your child
Activity example: Play Hide-and-seek with toys or everyday objects
Watch and wait - let your child lead- then join in
Activity example: Pots and pans – let your child explore the sounds they can make, then copy and join in.
Sing songs rhymes and share books
Activity example: try singing during everyday routines, e.g. “this is the way we wash our face”.
