Thank You to the West Midlands Fire Service

A big thank you to the Fire Service for dropping by our monthly Tea & Toast session.

Although it was only a flying visit, our members always enjoy the informative chats and valuable advice that the team shares. It's a great opportunity to ask questions, learn something new, and connect with our local emergency services.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us. We look forward to seeing you again soon! โ˜•๐Ÿž๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿƒ Nature Walk at Oak House ๐Ÿƒ

Join us on Monday 7 September at 1:30pm for a relaxing afternoon at Oak House.

Enjoy a peaceful session in the gardens, taking time to listen to the sounds of nature and unwind. We will also experience the soothing sounds of meditation and sound bath instruments.

As part of the event, we will be planting a blackcurrant bush to commemorate the project and celebrate the wonderful journey we've shared together.

Let us know you're coming... you can either meet at the SVI offices at 1.30 or at the Oak House gates at 2pm.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Utilita for their continued support of SVI. Every month, they kindly donate loaves of bread for our Tea & Toast sessions. Their generosity helps us to keep our members fed, happy and enjoying a good cuppa and chat.

The Body Mind Collective team would love to invite you to our very first Community Picnic on Saturday 22 August, in Dartmouth Park, West Bromwich. Join us from 11.30am for free Yoga, Tai Chi and Line Dancing taster sessions, then stay for a relaxed picnic. Body Mind Collective will bring some refreshments, but please bring something with you to share. We'll meet by the bandstand at 11.30am and settle down for our picnic at about 12.30pm. Bryony will bring some games, PJ will bring the playlist! Whether you already attend our sessions or you're curious about trying something new, we'd love to welcome you along. This event is for families and children too! This event is free, but we ask that you book so we can get an idea of numbers for refreshments. In the case of bad weather, alternative arrangements will be made and you will be contacted closer to the time. What to bring: a chair or blanket to sit on, and some food to share What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move around in

Our group enjoyed a very hot day in Weston Super Mare today.
After Fish & Chips. Ice creams and a few drinks Weโ€™re heading home.
Some dipped there toes in the marina water. Some raced across the hot sand. Enjoyed a stroll along the Grand Pier playing to enjoy the deck chairs at the end. And played a few 2p arcade machines. We even caught up with other members who were on holiday there. X
