A big thank you to the ladies from Two Can Uke for spending last Friday afternoon with us!

We had a fabulous afternoon of music, singing, percussion and dancing and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

We already have them back in the diary for another visit!

Another wonderful afternoon with Popcat's Music Time Ltd, Prenton - Caroline and the children from Carrie's Tiney Home Nursery and Caroline's Childminding

It's so lovely to see the two generations interacting and getting to know each other through music, activity and finishing the session as always with a time of quiet reading together.

We read poetry together and then talk about what we've read - what it makes us remember and how it makes us feel.

It's a great opportunity spend time together and it always gets everyone talking.

We spent time singing and reading together and everyone enjoyed it a lot!

Last Friday afternoon we enjoyed A Trip Down Memory Lane with Dominga Devitt!

Dominga gave us a tour through the history of television advertising and how it's changed over the years.

Lots of adverts that we all remembered including the PG Tips chimps, the Smash robots and Cadburys Fruit and Nut!

We are so excited to bring back our beautiful Boogie Baby Intergenerational Music and Sensory Play sessions following an amazing early summer term.

These special sessions bring babies, families and Abbeyfield residents together for a morning filled with music, sensory play, songs, instruments, bubbles, joy, laughter and so much love.

We always enjoy Knit and Natter with Heather on a Thursday morning!

The ladies have been working on a beautiful floral garland which is now on display between the lounge and dining room - make sure you have a look if you're visiting. It's been a team effort all done under Heather's expert guidance.
