We're still smiling as we look back on National Ice Cream Day, when we celebrated the occasion over two fantastic days! 🍦🍧

We kicked off the celebrations with a scenic trip through the New Forest to Carlos Ices & Tea Rooms, where everyone enjoyed choosing their favourite ice cream 🍨

Then, the fun came to Brook View as an ice cream van visited the home. Residents loved queuing up to order their own favourite treats, making the experience even more special💛

A pony in the home? What a wonderful surprise! 🐴💙

Residents at Brook View were delighted to welcome Linking Hearts Therapy Horses and their adorable miniature pony, Mr. Kellogs.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was Stuart playing his ukulele especially for Mr. Kellogs, creating a truly memorable moment.

The visit was filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of excitement – a day our residents won't forget!

Residents enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the sunshine with refreshing homemade Pimm’s, lovingly prepared by our chef.

Whether enjoying the garden or taking in the view from the lounge, everyone made the most of the beautiful weather, good company and a lovely summer atmosphere.

Happy 102nd Birthday, Joan! 🎉🎂

Joan celebrated her remarkable birthday surrounded by family, friends and our wonderful team at Brook View. Alongside gifts, cards and giant gold balloons, she also received a very special birthday message from Cunard, thanking her for her years of service aboard the Queen Mary.

Joan was truly touched and said, “Thank you for a lovely afternoon.” 💙

What a privilege it was to celebrate such a special milestone together.

A dream come true for lifelong Manchester United fan Ken ⚽❤️

Knowing how much the club has meant to him since he was 15, our Home Manager arranged a very special surprise. Today, Ken received an amazing gift pack from Manchester United, complete with a signed autograph!

Ken was absolutely thrilled, telling us, “My day has been made!” It was a wonderful moment that brought the biggest smile to his face.

A huge thank you to Manchester United for helping make Ken's day so memorable.

Residents at Brook View enjoyed a lovely Father’s Day celebration with Andy and his accordion 🎶

There was music, dancing and plenty of creativity as residents made little shirt-and-tie gift boxes filled with chocolates. Norman was especially enjoying the music and had everyone smiling as he danced along.

Residents celebrated the King's Birthday by transforming a chest of drawers into a striking upcycled piece, created together over a series of creative workshops.

Alongside the project, residents also made their own Union Jack-inspired brooches, which they proudly wore during afternoon tea celebrations.

The finished furniture was displayed as part of the home's royal-themed decorations and will soon be sold to raise funds for our chosen charity 👑🎂

What a fantastic afternoon at our Wild West Summer BBQ! 🤠☀️

Residents, families, friends, and members of the local community came together to enjoy great food, live entertainment from Kelly Lorraine, and even a special visit from some adorable ponies in cowboy hats.

With sunshine, laughter, and plenty of community spirit, it was a wonderful day for everyone involved. We're also delighted to share that the event raised over £400 for our chosen charity.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable ❤️
