Yesterday, the residents had a lovely Fruit Tasting afternoon! We enjoyed a varied and colourful selection of fruits including dragon fruit, kumquat and mango!

Our residents' final verdict: the grapefruit is too sour, but the lychees are delicious!!

🎶✨ A Wonderful Afternoon of Music! ✨🎶

Today we were delighted to welcome the lovely Susanna for a fantastic afternoon of music and entertainment! 🎤🎵

Susanna treated us to a wonderful variety of songs, taking us on a musical journey from the timeless classics of Judy Garland 🌈 right through to the fabulous Elton John 🎹⭐

We also had a very special moment as Susanna performed an Elvis Presley song especially for our birthday boy, George! 🎂🎉🕺 What a wonderful way to celebrate his special day! ❤️

There were plenty of smiles, toe-tapping and happy memories throughout the afternoon. A huge thank you to Susanna for bringing so much joy and music to our home! 🥰🎶

🌿☕️ A Day Out at Ditchling Garden Centre 🎃

Today our residents headed out for a trip to Ditchling Garden Centre, where they enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea 🫖🍰 and a wander around the seasonal displays.

Although we’re still enjoying the last of summer☀️ the pumpkins 🎃 and autumn colours🍂 are already making an appearance! There was plenty to see, chat about and enjoy along the way 😊❤️

🌸🌿 Making the most of the outdoors! 🌿🌸

Our residents have been enjoying some lovely time outside, with a trip to the park, enjoying the flowers 🌷 and having a wander around our grounds 🌳😊

Everyone enjoyed the fresh air, taking in the beautiful flowers and making the most of the sunshine ☀️🌼

There was plenty to see, smell and enjoy- and luckily, we even managed to avoid the rain! 🌧️😄

Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon by the sea, with an ice cream in hand and plenty of time spent watching the seagulls swooping along the shoreline🕊️🍦

The sunshine was certainly on our side, making it the perfect excuse to head to the coast and enjoy a change of scenery☀️💙

And of course, an ice cream by the seaside always tastes that little bit better! 😋🍦
