Yesterday marked the reopening of the new the Charity for Disabled Children superstore, and our Sales Director Charley was there to see it firsthand 👏

Throughout the day, he heard directly from staff, volunteers and charity advocates about the positive impact Newlife-funded equipment has on young disabled people and their families.

As one of Newlife's preferred equipment suppliers, we see this impact regularly through our own work with families. If you're an OT, case manager, or referrer supporting someone who needs funding support, Newlife is well worth exploring as a route to the right equipment.

It was fantastic to celebrate this next chapter for the store, and we're delighted to keep playing our part in their mission going forward. 💙

Equipment assessments are a huge part of what we do - they're how we make sure every customer gets the right solution for their individual needs.

One recent assessment took us to Derbyshire, where a young man who could only walk independently over short distances, had always relied on his parents pushing him in a buggy on countryside walks. He was ready to be more independent and find a new way to explore.

We suggested trialling the Klaxon Klick power assist bike - a lightweight powered add-on for wheelchairs that's built to handle bumpy terrain with ease.

The result?

The trial was a huge success and a genuinely life-changing moment. For the first time, he was able to enjoy a ride around his favourite park, entirely under his own steam.
