Happy Red4Research Day from everyone at CRDC Newcastle! ♥️

Thank you to all of our team for everything that they do to support the delivery of commercial research in our region, and to improve the experience of patients taking part in vital research.

Also, a special thank you to the research teams at our spoke sites for their support during our first few months as a CRDC. It has been a pleasure working with them and we can’t wait to continue developing these partnerships, in order to improve access to new treatments for patients across the North East.

As we mentioned last week, we are delighted that we are now officially a NIHR Commercial Research Delivery Centre! Our aim is to increase capacity for commercial research across the North East, and improve the efficiency of commercial trial delivery. We will operate a hub and spoke model, allowing us to increase equity of access to new treatments for patients living in the region.

We would like to thank our spoke sites, listed below, for all of their support throughout the application process, and we can't wait to work together over the next 7 years and beyond!
