It was Quiz time at Friends Together today in Portishead!❓🙋🏻‍♀️ 🖊️

Some great efforts finding new things out about each other. Well done everybody 👏

We then did a Summer Knowledge Quiz. You were all brilliant and learnt something today too! Awesome 🙌 🌞 😎 🦈

⚽️All Ability Football Funday Camp days⚽️
There are 4 dates remaining if you fancy giving these new 'All ability football Fundays’ a go.

These SEND friendly sessions will take place at Optima Stadium, Weston super Mare football club, led by award winning coach Simon Sibley. Seagulls In The Community

🎭Recently, our BURST Dance and Drama group welcomed Nathan and Heather from Myrtle Theatre Company to the For All Healthy Living Centre for a special workshop.

Members had the opportunity to take part in fun drama activities, learn about the production, and meet the stars of the show. 🎭

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the session, which was both inspiring and confidence-building. We look forward to supporting the production when it comes to Bristol Old Vic in October!

This informal session will have various activities especially adapted for adults with Learning disabilities, such as:

What is money?
Understanding a Bank Statement
£250 budget management
Guess the cost of shopping
Spot the scam!
Savings planner

Thanks to those who came to Friends Together at The Stable Games Room this morning. It was all ‘Fun & Games’. 🎲 🧩 Who remembers Screwball Scramble?

For some of you a simple chat among pals to get your day started was all you needed. ☕️ 💬

Another busy few days for RD!

Wednesday was spent exploring Bristol with walks around Castle Park and Queens Square. Thursday they headed from Congresbury to Yatton along the strawberry line, picking enough blackberries for some breakfast overnight oats. Finished with a well earned coffee stop after walking to Yatton Village before heading home. "Absolutely worn out, but it was worth every step!"
