Summer has arrived at our care home! 🦋🌼

Our residents have been getting creative with some beautiful summer-themed arts and crafts, painting colourful butterflies, bright flowers, sunshine, and all the wonderful things that make this season so special. 🎨✨

We’ve also been making the most of the lovely warm weather by spending quality time outdoors in the garden, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine before the colder days and rain return. 🌿☀️

To help us stay cool during the hot weather, we’ve been making delicious milkshakes and refreshing smoothies, which have been a big hit with everyone! 🥤🍓🍌 We’ve also been keeping hydrated and enjoying plenty of time in the shade.

There are plenty more exciting themed activities and special events coming up over the next few months, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

This week at Clarence Care Home, we proudly joined in supporting Mental Health Awareness Week by wearing green 💚

Our team came together to raise awareness, show support, and encourage conversations around mental health and wellbeing. Small acts of support can make a big difference, and we are proud to stand together for such an important cause.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful staff and residents who took part and helped spread positivity throughout the home.

🇬🇧✨ VE Day Celebrations at Clarence Park Care Home ✨🇬🇧

We had a wonderful time celebrating VE Day here at Clarence Park Care Home with lots of smiles, music, and community spirit.

A very special thank you to Maria Florey who looked fantastic dressed for the occasion and sang beautifully for everyone. Her performance truly brought joy to our residents, staff, and visitors throughout the celebration. 🎶❤️

We would also like to say a huge thank you to all our amazing staff who took part by dressing up and helping make the day so special. Your enthusiasm and effort helped create such a lovely atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

It was a fantastic day full of memories, laughter, and togetherness as we remembered and honoured this important occasion. 🇬🇧❤️

Today has been an emotional day for us at Clarence Park 🤍

We came together to hold a memorial service for someone we had the privilege of supporting for eight years. Staff, professional contacts, and residents all attended, and it was a truly lovely service filled with reflection and shared memories 💭

It gave us all a chance to remember, honour, and celebrate a life that meant so much to our community 🕊️

We are incredibly grateful to the pastoral care team, especially Sally Tooze from St Paul’s Church in Weston-super-Mare, for leading such a thoughtful and compassionate service. Their ongoing support, both day to day and during the most difficult times, means so much to us all 🙏

Today reminded us of the strength of our community and the importance of coming together to remember and support one another 🤍

We’re celebrating at Clarence Park Care Home this week! 🌟

Following a routine inspection from the Environmental Health Officer (EHO) — who visit to ensure food is prepared, stored, and served safely to the highest standards — we are absolutely delighted to have been awarded a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-star Food Hygiene Rating for our kitchen!

A huge well done to William, who has only been in post for 3 weeks and has already made such an incredible impact — you’ve truly smashed it! 👏

Thank you to our amazing team for their continued hard work and dedication to keeping our residents safe and well cared for every day 💚

We have some amazing news to share… our little hatchlings have been busy, and we now have 8 chicks out of 9 eggs successfully hatched!

Our residents have loved checking in on them each day, seeing how quickly they’re growing…

🐣🌼 Easter Hatch Update from Clarence Park Care Home! 🌼🐣

We’re so excited to share some lovely news this Easter… here at Clarence Park Care Home, out of 9 eggs, we’ve successfully welcomed 4 adorable chicks into the world! 💛

Watching them hatch has been such a special experience for everyone, and they’re all doing well—fluffy, curious, and already full of personality 🐥✨

It’s been a wonderful activity bringing smiles and joy to our residents, especially at this special time of year 🐣🌷

Nature doesn’t always follow a script, but we’re so grateful for these little ones and the happiness they’ve brought to our home 💖

What a fantastic few weeks we’ve had here at Clarence Park Nursing Home! 🎉💚

A HUGE shoutout to our incredible team for going all out and getting involved in World Book Day 📚, St Patrick’s Day 🍀, and Red Nose Day 🔴 – the effort, creativity, and fun you brought to each day was amazing!

From brilliant costumes and coloured theme tops to lots of laughter and smiles, you made these moments so special for our residents ❤️

And a very special thank you to Maria Florey for her fabulous singing at our afternoon party 🎶 – you had everyone smiling, singing along, and tapping their feet!

We feel so lucky to have such a caring, fun, and dedicated team here at Clarence Park – you truly make a difference every single day 💖

Thank you all for making these celebrations unforgettable! 🙌
