The people getting the best results aren't the ones with the most free time.

This is Yas. Since we've been working together, she's dropped body fat, got so much stronger, and found the confidence to start her own business.

As a mum of two, it's easy to look after everyone else and let your own needs slip. Now she knows how good it feels to fuel her body properly and get movement in for herself, and she wouldn't go back to who she was before.

Because that's exactly what my coaching is about. Not quick fixes. Not perfection. Just building a routine around your real life so you finally stop starting over every Monday and and have the confidence to go after what you want in life.

If you're watching this thinking "that sounds like me," stick around.

I've just taken the leap into coaching full time, and I've got something very exciting coming to celebrate.

Same body. Same day. Same person.

The toned, flat stomached version you just saw is tensed, posed and in carefully considered lighting. It takes effort to look like that and nobody, including me, walks around like that in real life.

Your stomach is not supposed to be flat when you are just living in your body and it will change throughout the day as well.

I am sharing it because I know how easy it is to scroll past something and feel like your body is wrong somehow. And I want you to know that what you are comparing yourself to is a moment, not a reality.
Your body is not the problem, what we are shown and what we compare ourselves to is.

Share it with someone who needs to see it today.

Your body gives you signals when it is not getting enough fuel. Most people have learned to ignore them or mistake them for something else entirely.

If this list feels a little too familiar, that is worth paying attention to.

(This is especially relevant if you are on a weight loss injection. These medications can significantly suppress hunger signals, which means your body may not be telling you it needs more food even when it does. Watching for these signs becomes even more important, not less.)

Save this and share it with someone who needs to see it.

Ah yes, let me swap out the thing that is making me stronger, more energetic and better in literally every area of my life 😅

Cardio has its place. But if you have been avoiding weights because of the bulk myth, we need to talk.

Hunger cues are important, but they are not always the full picture.

I had an unusual day today and knew lunch was going to be late, so I planned ahead before I left. And despite not feeling hungry at all, I ate anyway when I got home.

Because I know my body well enough now to know what happens when I do not fuel it properly. The energy crash, the mood dip, struggling through a session I should be able to breeze. The ravenous moment later in the week that comes out of nowhere.

So many things can suppress your appetite without you realising. A busy day, stress, caffeine, hormones. Your body not asking for food does not always mean it does not need it.

Sometimes eating well is less about listening to hunger in the moment and more about building the structure and habits that mean you are consistently fueled whether you feel like it or not.

That is the skill. And it is worth building.

Consider this your weekly welfare check.

Progress is not always big. Sometimes it is the small quiet decisions that nobody sees but you.

Showing up on the hard days, being a bit kinder to yourself, not letting one wobble become a reason to start over.

That stuff counts more than you probably give yourself credit for.

Save this for the week you need reminding, and tag someone who needs it today 🫶

I have never told this whole story in one place before, but it felt like the right time.

From everything being about sports to wheelchair. From learning to walk again to climbing Kilimanjaro. From teaching swimming at 16 to building a coaching business I am finally brave enough to go all in on.

I grew up loving movement, lost it completely at 12 when a rare disease left me unable to walk, spent years in pain, and then discovered in my late teens that strength training gave me my body back in a way nothing else had.

I have spent nearly two decades working in fitness, gaining every qualification I could, teaching classes, running a leisure centre, discovering pole, and building the knowledge and experience that now sits behind every client I work with.

I competed in bodybuilding for five years and walked away because the version of me it required was the opposite of everything I was teaching. That decision shaped my entire coaching philosophy.

Fitness is not about how you look. It never has been for me. It is about what your body lets you do and who you get to be because of it.

This is who I am and why I do what I do. I am Katie, and I am so glad you are here.

Hit follow, the best is genuinely still to come.

If food and your body take up a huge amount of your mental space every single day, that is worth paying attention to.

And its not because something is wrong with you, but because it does not have to be that way.

Health is supposed to support your life, give you energy, help you feel strong and capable and well. It is not supposed to be the thing that runs it.

You are allowed to enjoy food. You are allowed to have periods where fitness is not your main focus. You are allowed to just live.

If you have been stuck in a cycle that feels more exhausting than it does good, you do not have to figure it out alone. My door is always open.

DM me GLOW if you want to chat about what a calmer, more sustainable approach could look like for you.
