Good afternoon facebook friends. Hope your weekend is going well. I have finally managed to set up my new page for anyone interested in learning more about how myself and Luke are continuing through with love of holistics and our joint venture post COVID lockdown.

So, here is the FB link for anyone who may not have received an invite. Please feel free to share this with anyone you feel might like to learn more about my continued journey with him through holistic wellbeing, including our new venture (together) with Body Shop at Home.

Luke is my social media trainee manager !! in support of his GCSE preferred options and future career path. So please bear with us both 🙂 - you all know I am a total social media novice and he is learning - I could go out and get a social media expert, but why would I? - this experience is all about my joint journey with my family ... it may or may not work ... time will tell ... but what I do know is, both Luke and I will benefit from pulling together as a family in support of this venture.

My first event is tomorrow at Lulworth Castle and we will also soon be setting up a private FB group for anyone wanting to learn more specifically about the various body shop products, share experiences and learn more about new product launches, offers etc etc.

Happy Easter everyone, albeit a rather unusual one for us all. In systematic kinesiology we consider the whole, including how the mind and our emotions can affect how we feel physically and how our energy can too. During such times of uncertainty clearly many will suffer from increased anxiety. Often I will support a client with a range of simple self management techniques that can often support them at times of such episodes. Here are a couple:

Emotional Quick Fix: simply take your first two fingers of each hand and gently tap with the pads of both fingers of one hand below one eye at the same time as the pads of the other fingers below the other eye; as you breathe in slowly and deeply and breathe out again. This area is linked to the start of the stomach meridian, the stomach is commonly linked to fear and anxiety and a host of other emotions; as you tap, notice how your stomach feels and how your breathing changes and you gradually become more relaxed and grounded. You can even focus your thoughts onto your stomach as you complete the exercise, see if you feel any different. Repeat until you feel a change.

Secondly, this lovely summary on shifting your mindset from a fellow systematic kinesiologist I think is very useful.
