Did you know that you can do the following on the NHS APP:

🔹Book, rearrange and cancel appointments
🔹Order repeat medication
🔹Look at your medical history
🔹Register as an organ donor
🔹Send an AccuRx triage through to your GP surgery

AND LOTS MORE!!!

For those patients that are struggling to set up or use the NHS App, we host regular help desks with one of our NHS APP experts.
Our next help desk will be held on Monday 17th August between 9am - 12pm.

In July, our surgery booked 5,466 appointments with members of our clinical team.

Unfortunately, 112 appointments were not attended.

Every missed appointment is time that could have been offered to another patient in need. If you're unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer it to someone else.

Thank you for helping us make the best use of our appointments and ensuring we can continue to provide care to everyone who needs it.

Please note that from 1st November 2026 patients will be required to order their own repeat medication directly from the surgery. Pharmacies will not longer be able to order your repeat prescriptions for you, unless special support has bee agreed.

Physiotherapy (pelvic, obstetric and gynaecological) self-referrals:

The POG Physiotherapy Service is a small team of physiotherapists specialising in pelvic health. The service provides outpatient physiotherapy assessments and intervention for people with a range of bladder and bowel problems as well as pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain.

Making a self-referral:
The service accepts self-referrals as well as referrals from any health profession for patients living in East Lancashire.
