"When I've lost the weight... then I'll feel confident."

Sound familiar?

So many women spend years believing confidence is waiting on the other side of a smaller body, a different wardrobe, or a younger version of themselves.

But confidence doesn't come from looking like someone else.

And it doesn't come from trying to become the person you used to be.

Real confidence comes from trusting yourself. Looking after your health. Keeping the promises you make to yourself. Knowing you're capable.

That's what my Nurse-Led 6-Week Foundation Coaching Programme is designed to help you do.

Over 6 weeks we'll work together to:
✨ Build healthy habits that actually fit your life.
✨ Improve your energy and wellbeing.
✨ Move away from all-or-nothing thinking.
✨ Stop starting over every Monday.
✨ Build genuine confidence from the inside out.

This isn't another quick fix or restrictive diet.

It's the foundation for lasting change, helping you become the healthiest, strongest and most confident version of the woman you are today.

πŸ’› You don't need to become someone else.

You just need the right support to become more like yourself.

πŸ“© If you're ready to stop waiting to feel confident, send me a message with FOUNDATION, and I'll send you all the details.

Tuesday Tip- Appreciate your body for what it does or allows you to do.

So we all care about our appearance on some level, but for some of us our thoughts about our appearance can get in the way of living the life you want.

One simple practical strategy is to focus on what your body does- being able to hug the people you love, growing a child, walking upstairs, being able to tie your shoelaces.

I know this sounds simple but give yourself the challenge of writing 3-5 of these each day and you'll start feeling differently about your body.

You're not failing because.......

Clients often come to me saying 'Lucy does this but I tried and I managed for a few days and then.....'

Your problem isn't will power, or that 'Lucy' is more disciplined.

It's that 'Lucy's' plan isn't made for you.

Often people set themselves unrealistic goals and then beat themselves up when they don't achieve them.

Which leads them to feel worse about themselves and typically do more of what they are actually trying to stop doing.

Tired of feeling like you've failed and restarting everything week?

Tuesday Tip- Animals and wellbeing.

If everything feels a bit much at the moment... go and spend some time with an animal. ❀️

Whether it's watching your dog run through the mud (my dogs favourite hobby), listening to your cat purring, or walking a rescue donkey like my daughter is in the picture, being around animals helps us be present and slow down.

They don't care about your to-do list, or whether you've had a productive day. They just live in the moment, and that's something we often forget.

Spending time with animals can help reduce stress, lift your mood, and give your mind a little break from the everyday overwhelm.

Who's your favourite furry (feathered/ scaly) friend? 🐠🐢🫏

I had a realisation this morning.....

I have achieved the life that I fought for.

When I was getting divorced a while back, it was probably one of the most difficult times in my life and at the time I felt like I'd never make it through.

But I knew what type of life I wanted to create, and despite other people's opinions and the system being what it is I fought my way through.

And today I actually cried happy tears and reminded myself that this is why I fought so hard.

If you are going through something right now, I know it's hard and sometimes giving in feels easier or like the only option but don't.

Stick at it and you will get to where you want πŸ’ͺ🏼.

I'm so tired of the people saying we all have the same 24 hours in a day.

We don't.

Life is busy, and the last thing we need is someone (who's probably still living at home) telling us we aren't trying hard enough.

What we need is to be kind to ourselves, and advice and support that fits into our already hectic lives.

If you're done following generic advice from people who aren't juggling anywhere near as many plates as you, DM me for more information about my Nurse-led Health Assessments.

One appointment = a personalised plan that fits around your busy life.

Tuesday Tip- When was the last time you did something creative?

Taking time to paint, draw, bake, garden, write, knit, dance, or try something new can help reduce stress, improve your mood, and give your mind a break from everyday pressures.

You don't have to be "good" at it. The magic is in the process, not the end result.

πŸ’š This week, set aside just 15 minutes to do something creative, without worrying about getting it 'right'.

You'll be surprised how much calmer you feel afterwards.

What's one creative thing you enjoy doing? Let me know in the commentsβ€”I’d love to hear! πŸ‘‡
