The rain may have been falling outside, but we brought a little sunshine indoors at The Triangle Care Home 🌻💜

Brenda, Susan and Michael spent some time getting creative with sunflower colouring, adding plenty of bright colours and cheerful touches to their artwork. It was a lovely way to spend the day, with lots of conversation and concentration along the way.

Sometimes a simple activity is all it takes to brighten a grey afternoon 😊

On Saturday 30th May, The Triangle Care Home was delighted to welcome Nikki King Music for a wonderful live performance for our wonderful residents. 🎶✨

It was a fantastic afternoon filled with music, smiles and plenty of laughter as everyone enjoyed the lively entertainment. Residents joined in, tapped along to the songs and thoroughly enjoyed the uplifting atmosphere.

A big thank you to Nikki King for coming in and sharing such a brilliant performance with us. It was lovely to see so many happy faces and hear everyone saying how much fun they had. 💜

This morning at The Triangle Care Home , Brenda, Susan, Ann and Maria joined Charlotte from activities for a lovely little sit out in the garden 💜

We enjoyed our tea and coffee outside together, making the most of the fresh morning air before the heat of the afternoon set in. There was plenty of easy conversation and a really calm, relaxed start to the day ☀️

Sometimes it’s these quieter moments in the garden that everyone enjoys the most, just sitting together and taking it all in.

On a recent afternoon we put our new karaoke machine to the test at The Triangle Care Home and safe to say it was a hit from the very first song 🎤💜

Our wonderful residents sang along to old classics while playing instruments, with Dee dancing from start to finish and soon getting everyone else up joining in too 😊 There were plenty of requests for Elvis Presley throughout the afternoon, and one of the highlights had to be Brenda and Dee singing a duet of Blue Suede Shoes together.

The room was full of music, laughter, and a few impressive dance moves along the way. We have a feeling the karaoke afternoons may become a regular favourite in our home 🎶

We enjoyed a lovely Cultural Diversity Day yesterday at The Triangle Care Home this week, spending time learning about and celebrating different cultures from around the world 😊

Our wonderful residents sampled sweet treats from different countries with the morning tea trolley while listening to music from across the globe. One of our wonderful carers, Guri, also shared the history and significance of turbans with everyone, talking about the importance of faith, identity and tradition behind them. Residents were really interested to learn more, and Brenda, Ann and Mavis enjoyed trying them on with Guri’s help and guidance 💜

It was such a thoughtful afternoon filled with conversations, learning and plenty of smiles!

This morning at The Triangle Care Home , our wonderful residents enjoyed a lovely session of Knit and Natter 💜

Brenda, Ann, and Susan were busy with their knitting needles, sharing stories, laughter, and plenty of helpful tips along the way. It’s always such a peaceful and cheerful way to spend the morning together.

Watching their creations come to life while they chat makes these moments so special – and there’s never a shortage of smiles or friendship 💜

A beautiful throwback from The Triangle Care Home as we celebrated a very special milestone recently 💜

One of our lovely residents reached an incredible 100th birthday, and the whole day was filled with joy, flowers, balloons and plenty of cake to mark the occasion 🎉 Her room was absolutely overflowing with beautiful bouquets, and it truly felt like stepping into a little florist 💐

She also received a special card from the King, which made the moment even more memorable. It was so lovely to see family come together and spend the day celebrating with her, sharing stories and making precious memories as a group 😊

The Triangle Care Home was filled with music and joy this week as Sandy’s Choir came in to perform for our residents and team 🎶💜

There were plenty of smiles as everyone settled in to enjoy the songs, with lots of singing along and a few residents even up dancing and really getting into the music. It was one of those lovely afternoons where the whole room felt lifted 😊

A big thank you to Sandy’s Choir for bringing so much warmth, energy, and happiness into our home. We are already looking forward to welcoming you back again soon 🌷
