Sound bath are a type of meditation conducted by the Sounds & Vibrations of instruments such as Tibetan Bowls, Gongs, Crystal Bowls, Shamanic Drums & Chimes.

Cupping is a myofascial therapy that increases local perfusion to allow for increased circulation of blood and interstitial fluids. It's like a reverse massage that penetrates deeper and is more focal. Definitely not pseudoscience.

Benefits include breaking up fascial adhesions, trigger points, and other congestion (including phlegm). It improves lymphatic drainage. It improves blood circulation which is what contains nutrients and healing factors. Among many other functions.

It can be used diagnostically as well depending in the color of the bruise that's left. Purple or black indicate deoxygenated blood aka poor circulation. Red indicates inflammation. Pale indicates weakness.

It's a therapy from many traditions so generally safely used. However, as with anything, it must be performed properly for best results.
