Yes, I’m a physiotherapist and, yes, I do medical tattoos.
But actually, the two go together more naturally than you might think.

As a physiotherapist, I’ve spent years learning about the body — our anatomy, how it moves, how it heals and how physical changes can affect how we feel about ourselves.

But physiotherapy has taught me so much more than anatomy.
It’s taught me how to listen.

I know a scar can be much more than something you see on the skin.
It can be a reminder of surgery, trauma, illness or a chapter of your life you’d rather leave behind.
It might make you feel self-conscious in certain clothes.

I’ve seen scars just days after surgery or trauma, and then seen them again weeks, months and years later. I've heard the impact it can have and how it can change how you see yourself.

And sometimes, you just want the opportunity to look at it and feel differently.
That’s where medical tattooing feels like such a natural extension of my physiotherapy background.

I bring the knowledge of the body, the understanding of healing and years of experience supporting people through incredibly personal journeys.

But I also bring something, I think, is just as important:
The understanding that this isn’t just about a scar.
It’s about the person living with it.
