Hello! A brief introduction if you just found me.
I am a Perfumer, Clinical Aromatherapist and UKCP-Psychotherapist living in Northumberland.
Half of my life I spent in Mexico, half of my life in England. I have worked in many other countries over the years: France, Belgium, Switzerland, the Neatherlands, China, India, Egypt, Russia... I created fragrances for all of these countries and more over the past 25 years.
After studying Chemistry in Mexico, I started working for Procter & Gamble and very quickly started my training to become a Perfumer. This means I am a "classically trained Perfumer" and a "Fragrance industry insider" as I spent 21 years creating perfumes for major global brands and working with the biggest Perfume Houses.
While still at P&G, I started my training to become a psychotherapist, and an aromatherapist.
For the past 6 years I have been developing my independent practice, coupling my scent expertise with my psychotherapy practice.
My perfume studio is in a rural location in Northumberlad, where I run workshops and perfume-creation sessions, tend our garden and commune with the thriving Life around me.
My clinical practice as a psychotherapist combines client work mainly with neurodivergent children and young people, tutoring psychotherapy trainees and supervising new therapists.
As my practice has evolved, I have the privilege of working more and more with professionals who want to use scent therapeutically, to provide experiences where scent transports and connects to meaningful places and to Nature. I am now creating scents for the NHS, Museums, Universities, wellbeing practitioners and outreach projects where we are taking Perfume beyond a product: a transformational personal and collective experience.
