Located in the residential area of Wellfield, less than 2 miles from the seaside town of Whitley Bay, Earsdon Grange is an award winning purpose build care home offering residential and dementia residential care aswell as respite breaks. Food is a huge aspect of our care at Earsdon Grange and the home has a 5 star Food Hygiene rating. The home is accessible by car and ha

s a small car park at the front of the home in the unnumbered bays as well as on street parking. The closest Metro Station to the home is West Monkseaton located on Earsdon Road or the local buses 57, 57A, W1 and W1A which have a pick up and drop off point at the Metro Station and then a 0.5 mile walk to the home.

What an eventful week. We had More... Movement thanks to our take on the Commonwealth Games: Tik Tock Games! Fun was had by all.

We enjoyed a game of Just Bowl.

We wished Terry goodbye and wished him the very best as he moves onto assisted living. We made him a scrapbook of his time with us, Staff signed and left heartfelt messages. We will miss you Terry. Some of us will see you soon for a cuppa.

What a fabulous week we've had! 💙

From summer parties and celebrating National Cheesecake Day (there was no way we could miss that one! 🍰), to visits from some adorable furry friends 🐾, relaxing pamper sessions, exciting Wealth Games, fun-filled line dancing, and even raising a toast for Tequila Day 🍹.

National Ice Cream Day was a huge hit at Earsdon Grange!

Jane, our Lifestyle Coordinator, brought the ice cream trolley around with classic ice cream van music playing, offering residents a choice of Raspberry Ripple, Triple Chocolate, Caramel, Vanilla, or Cookie Dough ice cream, topped with sauce and a Flake. 🍫🍓

Everyone loved their sweet treat, with many saying, “This is lovely, we are being looked after.” 💙
