Located in the residential area of Wellfield, less than 2 miles from the seaside town of Whitley Bay, Earsdon Grange is an award winning purpose build care home offering residential and dementia residential care aswell as respite breaks. Food is a huge aspect of our care at Earsdon Grange and the home has a 5 star Food Hygiene rating. The home is accessible by car and has a small car park at the front of the home in the unnumbered bays as well as on street parking. The closest Metro Station to the home is West Monkseaton located on Earsdon Road or the local buses 57, 57A, W1 and W1A which have a pick up and drop off point at the Metro Station and then a 0.5 mile walk to the home.

🎳 It was lovely to see some new faces joining in with Just Bowl today. Everyone enjoyed taking part, keeping active and having fun together, with plenty of encouragement, laughter and friendly competition throughout the session. We look forward to seeing everyone again next time! 😊👏

🥤🍓 To celebrate National Milkshake Day, we enjoyed making our own delicious milkshakes.

Everyone got involved by blending ice cream, milk and fresh fruit before helping to serve the finished drinks to others.

Topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate and sweet sauces, the milkshakes were a real treat and brought plenty of smiles to the afternoon. 🍨😊

🌹🥓 To celebrate National Salami Day, those living at the home got creative by turning slices of salami into beautiful edible flowers before enjoying a tasting session together.

Everyone had great fun getting involved, admiring their creations and trying something a little different. The activity sparked plenty of conversation and laughter, making for a fun and memorable afternoon. 😊🍴

🍏👩‍🍳 Our baking group had a wonderful time in the kitchen making a delicious homemade apple crumble.

Everyone enjoyed getting involved, from preparing the apples to adding the crumble topping, with plenty of conversation and laughter along the way.

The best part was, of course, enjoying the finished treat together, filling the home with the comforting aroma of freshly baked apple crumble. 🥧😊

From striking it lucky at bowling and bingo to getting creative with leaf painting and doodling, there was something for everyone to enjoy. What another fantastic week we've had at Earsdon Grange!

🧁 We celebrated Cupcake Day with some delicious sweet treats enjoyed by residents and team members alike.

📸 We got creative for World Photography Day, capturing special moments and sharing their favourite photographs and memories.

🎤 We were delighted to welcome Mike Memphis Entertainment, who had everyone singing along, tapping their feet, and enjoying a wonderful afternoon of music and laughter.

💇‍♀️ Margaret enjoyed some well-deserved one-to-one time in the community, treating herself to a visit to the hairdressers followed by a shopping trip. It was lovely to see her enjoying the local community and spending time doing things she loves.

A week full of smiles, music, treats, and meaningful moments! 💙
