Please be aware that Monkseaton Drive will be closed between Red House Drive and Beaumont Drive from Friday 28th August for approximately 5 days while essential works are carried out.

➡️ Diversion Route:
At the roundabout, turn onto Red House Drive and follow the estate roads around until you reach Hepscott Drive, as shown on the map below.

⚠️ Please allow extra time for your journey and take care when travelling through residential streets.

World Breastfeeding Awareness Week 💕

This week, we're celebrating the many benefits of breastfeeding for babies, mums and families.

Breastfeeding gives babies the best possible start in life, providing essential nutrition and helping to protect against illness. It also supports maternal health and strengthens the special bond between parent and baby.

We know that every family's feeding journey is unique. Whether you're breastfeeding, combination feeding, expressing, or looking for support, we're here to help without judgement.

If you have questions or need advice, please speak to one of our GPs, health visitors or midwives. Support is available every step of the way.

💗 Remember: asking for help is a sign of strength, and no parent should feel they have to do it alone.

Meningococcal B (MenB) is a rare but serious bacterial infection that can cause meningitis and blood poisoning. Young people living and studying together for the first time are at increased risk, so getting vaccinated is an important way to help protect yourself.

You may be eligible if you are:
✅ Aged 17–18 (born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008)
✅ Starting university for the first time and born on or after 21 July 2001
✅ Starting some residential further education colleges for the first time in autumn 2026 and born on or after 21 July 2001
