🎉 We're delighted and proud that our Java Jive session, during Care Home Open Week, featured in Care Home Magazine.

This summed up how much our residents, team and visitors enjoyed Anthony and Rachel's performance and the importance of music therapy, especially for those living with dementia:

"What Java Jive created at Bradbury Grange was not just background music for an afternoon. It was a shared experience that brought people together, sparked memories, and left the room feeling lighter than when it began, which is exactly the kind of moment that stays with people long after the instruments are packed away."

Many thanks to the Sunday School at York Street Methodist Church Broadstairs who created these amazing letters and pictures for our residents during an MHA Sunday service. We enjoyed reading the letters at this evening’s service and have put them up for all to see.

Did you know it’s national Care Home Open Week? Today we’ve enjoyed music and dancing with the fantastic Java Jive, and welcomed a visitor from Care Home Magazine. If you’d like to visit our home this week, you’d be welcome to join us for our informal church service tomorrow morning at 11 - no need to book. If you’d like to visit at any other time, please contact the home to arrange an appointment to suit you.

Join us between 16-18th June to meet the team and enjoy one of our activity sessions at Bradbury Grange care home in Whitstable, part of the charity MHA.

Tues 16th: Seated yoga and meditation at 2pm 🧘🏽
Wed 17th: Java Jive live band at 2pm 🎶
Thurs 18th: Morning Praise (Worship) at 11am 🙏🏽

Care Home Open Week is an annual event, organised by Championing Social Care, that aims to connect care homes with their local communities, showcasing the positive work of the care sector and providing opportunities for the public to visit and learn more about care homes.
