The Medimove Ambulance Service team had a fantastic time attending this year's Kent County Show, one of the county's biggest and most celebrated events.

It was a pleasure to be part of such a wonderful community occasion, meeting members of the public, connecting with other organisations, and enjoying everything the show had to offer. Events like these provide a great opportunity to engage with our local community and showcase the vital work that Medimove Ambulance Service carries out every day.

We'd like to thank everyone who stopped to chat with our team. It was wonderful to meet so many people, answer your questions, and share more about the services we provide.

A big thank you to the organisers for hosting such a successful event and to everyone who helped make the weekend so enjoyable. We look forward to attending again in the future!

A Huge Thank You from the Medimove Ambulance Service Team

What an incredible evening!

The entire Medimove Ambulance Service team were proud to take part in the Wisdom Hospice 10K Walk, joining so many others in supporting the outstanding work that Wisdom Hospice does for patients and their families.

We'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us, donated, encouraged us along the route, and helped make the evening such a success. It was fantastic to see the community come together for such an important cause.

As healthcare professionals, we know how invaluable hospice care is, and it was an honor to walk together in support of the compassionate care and dedication that Wisdom Hospice provides every day.

We are incredibly proud of our team for taking on the challenge and representing Medimove Ambulance Service with such enthusiasm and community spirit.

Thank you once again to everyone involved. Together, we've helped make a difference, and we're already looking forward to supporting future community events.

Zero restrictions with MediMove! 💛

Another fantastic day supporting our community alongside the wonderful team at Home Instead Medway, Higham & Shorne!
Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of providing safe and comfortable transport for Hilary on her very special mystery tour. Together, we visited some beautiful local spots, giving her the chance to relax, take in the views, and enjoy a truly memorable day out.
At MediMove, we believe transportation is about so much more than getting from A to B—it’s about enabling people to stay connected, reduce isolation, and continue doing the things they love, safely and with dignity.
Working in partnership with Home Instead Medway allowed us to make this experience extra special, and seeing Hilary’s smiles throughout the day reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
A huge thank you to everyone involved—and most importantly to Hilary, for being such an incredible 96‑year‑old and making the day so enjoyable for us all! 🌟

🌊 Today was all about making memories — and we were proud to help make it happen 💚
With careful planning, teamwork, and the incredible support of the Home Instead Medway team, we helped one of their lovely clients enjoy a long-overdue day out to the coast with his wife. He hadn’t been out in over a year, and the joy on their faces made every moment worth it.
Here’s to more days like this — full of connection, care, and unforgettable moments.

At Medimove Ambulance Service, we’re growing our amazing team and looking for caring, reliable people to join us as Patient Transport Service (PTS) Ambulance Crew.

💙 What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be out on the road, supporting patients who need help getting to and from hospitals, clinics, and care facilities. It’s not just about transport — it’s about compassion, dignity, and making someone’s day a little brighter, offering a friendly face, and delivering care with kindness and respect.

🧭 Your Role Includes:
- Safely transporting patients to appointments
- Offering reassurance and a friendly face
- Assisting those with limited mobility
- Keeping your vehicle clean and ready
- Working closely with your team and healthcare professionals

🎯 What We’re Looking For:
- Full UK driving licence (C1 preferred)
- Caring, can-do attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility for shift work (including weekends)
- PTS or ambulance experience is great — but not essential
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check (we’ll help)

Medimove Ambulance Service Update

It’s hard to believe we’re already 11 months in — and what a journey it’s been! We wanted to take a moment to share some of the exciting progress and achievements we’ve made at Medimove Ambulance Service so far.

🚑 Team Milestones
A huge congratulations to our amazing team members — Andy, Bradley, Lisa, and Hayley — who have recently completed their 2,000th patient move! This is an incredible achievement and reflects their dedication, flexibility, and willingness to go above and beyond. We’re incredibly proud of you all.
Additionally, the team has now achieved their FREC 3 qualifications, enhancing our clinical capabilities and commitment to high standards of patient care.

✅ CQC Registration
We are delighted to announce that we are now CQC registered. This enables us to work more closely with the NHS and confirms that our policies and procedures meet the highest regulatory standards. A huge milestone and a proud moment for our whole team.

🌍 European Repatriations
We’ve successfully completed several European repatriations, with fantastic feedback from patients and their families. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see the impact of our work and the reassurance we’ve been able to provide in challenging times.

⚖️ Bariatric Patient Moves
So far, we’ve completed over 85 Bariatric patient transfers, using our specially configured, multi-purpose ambulances. These vehicles are key to providing safe and dignified care for all patients, regardless of their needs.

🏥 Partnerships with NHS Hospitals
We’re proud to have begun collaborating with several NHS hospitals, strengthening our ties within the healthcare system and expanding the reach of our services.

🚐 Fleet Upgrades
We’re also in the process of renewing our ambulance fleet, with fantastic support from our friends at BVS. A special thank you to Jack and Liam for helping us take this next step in ensuring our vehicles remain state-of-the-art and patient-ready.
