Both Ears Maxed out! Episode 642
In today's episode, I’m dealing with a patient whose ears were so full they literally couldn't fit another speck of wax! This was a uniquely difficult case featuring two very different consistencies: one ear was packed with stubborn, dry wax, while the other was incredibly squidgy and trapped deep in the recess.

"Never put cotton buds in your ears!" This case is the perfect example of why.

In this episode, a patient arrives after a DIY cleaning attempt went wrong in both ears. By using cotton buds, he managed to wedge a massive amount of debris deep into the anterior recess, leaving him almost deaf and in immediate regret.

Today’s episode is a journey of two extremes. Our first patient has been driven to despair by a chronic skin condition that has caused unbearable itching for years. Today is the day Mrs Wizard takes on the challange of her life. She is right now taking on a 50km mountain hike with over 4000 feet of elevation. She has trained for months for this. She is raising money for our daughters Gym club, a registered charity that provides opportunities for hundreds of children. They could have easily given up on her during her heart troubles, but they adapted for her, and allowed her to compete in disability gymnastics competitions.
