Passed away Saturday 22nd August 2026, and of Haigh.

Funeral service to be held Friday 18th September 2026 at St David’s Church at 12.00pm. Followed by committal at Charnock Richard Crematorium at 1.30pm.

Donations in memory of David to ‘Kendal Mountain Search and Rescue Team’, care of the family.

Everyone is welcome to join David’s family following the service at Wigan Rugby Union Football Club, Wingates Road, Wigan WN1 2SJ

Team Boltons came 2nd!! Wow what a well organised, enjoyable day. We loved every minute, and even had the weather on our side! Well done to all the players, score keepers and referees. We had so much fun taking part and lots of money raised to two amazing charities !! It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces too and a big well done to the winners 🏆 Sarah your lovely mum would just be so proud. See you all next year 💚🎾🏅

We recently had the honour and privilege of taking care of a truly wonderful lady and her lovely family.

Brenda was very precise on her funeral wishes and had detailed notes in safekeeping with us. Knowing Brenda personally, reading her notes had us smiling, crying and laughing all at the same time.

Brenda’s wish for a white coffin, decorated by her lovely family in her favourite colour was so unique and beautiful and ‘just Brenda all over’

We hope Brenda’s day was one she would be proud of. Your devoted family and friends truly honoured and celebrated you to the last detail.

You will always be solely missed, remembered and deeply loved 💙
