Every child has an emotional bank account.

Every smile is a deposit.
Every moment we listen is a deposit.
Every hug, every bit of praise, every “I understand” adds something.

But being rushed, ignored, embarrassed, constantly corrected or told off can feel like withdrawals.

And when a child’s account is empty, they can’t keep giving patience, calm, confidence or cooperation.

Sometimes the behaviour we see is just the balance showing.

Connection before correction doesn’t mean there are no boundaries. It means children are more able to learn, listen and grow when they feel safe, valued and understood.

A few small deposits today could build trust, security, self-worth and confidence that lasts far beyond the moment. ❤️

Years from no, you probably won't remember every intervention / Every worksheet / Every perfectly worded reflection.

But you'll remember the moment someone finally believed they deserved compassion. Or realized they weren't broken. Or whispered, "I've never told anyone that before."

Those moments stay with us.

When the sun’s out and everyone’s getting together, drinks are often part of the plan 🍻☀️ However, some people choose not to drink alcohol, and no matter the reason, their choice deserves respect 🫶

Don't pressure others into drinking or question their decision. Be kind and respect boundaries ❤️
