03/09/2026

As you may already be aware, from Monday 7 September 2026, our online platform will be changing from AskMyGP to Accurx Gold.

๐Ÿ”„ This is simply a direct switch of online platforms.
You will still be able to access our online service through our practice website, but you will now also be able to access it conveniently through your NHS App.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Nothing is changing about the way our practice works. Our social media posts are simply to make those patients who choose to use our online service aware of the change.

Our phone lines will remain available 8amโ€“6.30pm for:
๐Ÿ“ž Contacting the practice
๐Ÿ“… Booking appointments, including pre-bookable appointments
๐Ÿšจ Requesting urgent, same-day appointments

You do NOT need to put all requests through Accurx Gold. We are not moving to a total triage system, as we do not feel this is feasible or appropriate for our practice and our patient population.

๐Ÿ“… Important dates:

โžก๏ธ AskMyGP: Available until 6.30pm Friday 4 September

โžก๏ธ Weekend: AskMyGP will be replaced by Accurx Gold

โžก๏ธ Accurx Gold: Available from 8am Monday 7 September

If you currently use AskMyGP, please be aware of this change so you know what to expect from Monday. ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

๐ŸŒธ IT'S THE 1ST OF THE MONTH โ€“ TIME TO CHECK! ๐ŸŒธ

A new month is the perfect reminder to take a few minutes to get to know what is normal for you. ๐Ÿ’—

โœ‹ TOUCH

Feel your breasts and chest, including up to your collarbone and under your arms. Can you feel anything new or unusual, such as a lump or swelling?

๐Ÿ‘€ LOOK

Look for anything that appears different, including changes in size or shape, skin dimpling or redness, ni**le changes, or unusual discharge.

โœ”๏ธ CHECK

If you notice any new or unusual changes, contact your GP practice and get them checked.

The NHS recommends checking your breasts or chest regularly, around once a month, so you can become familiar with what is normal for you. Anyone can get breast cancer, so men should check their chest too.

๐Ÿ’— TOUCH. LOOK. CHECK. ๐Ÿ’—
