Dear Sham & Walfinch team,

Thank you to all the Walfinch team for looking after our Mum, Joyce. We cannot speak highly enough of the support provided. The carers were compassionate, flexible, and responsive; always focused on Mum’s needs. The care team are a credit to Walfinch. Those who looked after Mum always made sure she was happy, safe, and well. Nothing was too much trouble for them. If something unexpected arose, they would sort it out and make sure everything was in order before leaving Mum. We are lucky to have found Walfinch; we don’t know what we would have done without you all.

✔ Female Care Assistant (occupational requirement applies)
✔ Full-time or Part-time availability
✔ Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
✔ Own car (essential)
✔ No sponsorship available - applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
✔ Excellent spoken and written English – clear communication is absolutely essential
✔ Caring, kind, patient and respectful nature
✔ Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
✔ Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends

Your role will include:
Supporting clients with personal care
Assisting with medication
Preparing meals and supporting nutrition
Providing companionship and emotional support

Had a wonderful time at the open days in Tytherington and Egerton Hall, hosted by The Rainbow Care Group. 🌈 It was a pleasure to connect with the lovely staff and explore the beautiful venues dedicated to providing personalised dementia day care.

I had the opportunity to meet Cllr David Edwardess, who represents the Macclesfield and Tytherington ward, along with familiar faces like Sara from Cheshire East Council and Judy from Poynton Golden Memories. It’s inspiring to see so many dedicated individuals in our field, all aiming to support families affected by dementia.

Kudos to Brad and James for their incredible work in launching The Rainbow Care Group! Their mission to ensure that no local family faces dementia alone is truly commendable. Let’s continue to support one another and share resources to make a difference in our communities.
