What we're looking for:

✔ Female Care Assistant (occupational requirement applies)
✔ Full-time or Part-time availability
✔ Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
✔ Own car (essential)
✔ No sponsorship available - applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
✔ Excellent spoken and written English – clear communication is absolutely essential
✔ Caring, kind, patient and respectful nature
✔ Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
✔ Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends

Your role will include:
Supporting clients with personal care
Assisting with medication
Preparing meals and supporting nutrition
Providing companionship and emotional support
Helping clients remain independent in their own homes
Maintaining accurate care records
Delivering care with dignity, compassion and respect

Had a wonderful time at the open days in Tytherington and Egerton Hall, hosted by The Rainbow Care Group. 🌈 It was a pleasure to connect with the lovely staff and explore the beautiful venues dedicated to providing personalised dementia day care.

I had the opportunity to meet Cllr David Edwardess, who represents the Macclesfield and Tytherington ward, along with familiar faces like Sara from Cheshire East Council and Judy from Poynton Golden Memories. It’s inspiring to see so many dedicated individuals in our field, all aiming to support families affected by dementia.

Kudos to Brad and James for their incredible work in launching The Rainbow Care Group! Their mission to ensure that no local family faces dementia alone is truly commendable. Let’s continue to support one another and share resources to make a difference in our communities.

🌟 Building Connections for a Thriving Community🌟

I had the pleasure of meeting Clare , the Care Coordinator for the CHAW team, at the Guild for Lifelong Learning in Wilmslow. Our discussion centered on ways to support the elderly community and improve overall well-being through collaboration.

Clare and her colleague Carrie, a Social Prescribing Link Worker, are dedicated to connecting patients with vital services, enhancing their quality of life. Together, we explored how Walfinch Home Care Services can contribute to this mission, particularly through our FREE Thrive Club exercise classes and personalized home care options.

It was also wonderful to explore what the Guild has to offer. The staff and volunteers radiate warmth 💕 and dedication, making it a welcoming place for the community. Connecting with them that day allowed us to learn more about their initiatives and how they enrich the lives of individuals in our community.
