Most people come in for massage because they’re hurting, stressed, tight, exhausted… or all of the above.
And while massage can absolutely help, there are a few things we genuinely wish more clients understood 👇

1️⃣ One session usually won’t undo years of tension or pain patterns. Real change often happens through consistency over time.

2️⃣ Pressure isn’t everything. Going deeper isn’t always better your nervous system and muscle guarding play a huge role in how your body responds.

3️⃣ Communication matters. Telling us if something feels too intense, too light, sensitive, or relieving helps us adjust the session to your body.

4️⃣ Your daily habits matter more than one hour on the table. Posture, stress, sleep, movement, hydration, and repetitive activities all affect how you feel between sessions.

5️⃣ Pain is complex. Tight muscles are only one piece of the puzzle. Stress, injuries, inflammation, nervous system overload, and lifestyle can all contribute to discomfort.

6️⃣ Massage therapists never stop learning. We spend years continuing our education to refine our techniques, expand our knowledge, and better support our clients.

Massage isn’t magic, but it can be an incredibly powerful tool when combined with consistency, communication, and good self-care habits 🤍

One of the biggest mistakes people make when trying to lose weight is not eating enough protein… then wondering why they’re hungry all day 👀

Truth Time! 👀

Here are my progress photos from being in a calorie deficit.
First photo was taken 31/03/2026 and the second was taken 12/05/2026.

Now I know changes have happened… but I want to be honest and say even I struggle with body confidence sometimes.

Yes!!! I’m still that person who looks at these photos and thinks “I’ve not changed enough” even when progress is there.

Small changes are still wins 🤍

✨ Less bloated
✨ Waist is getting more shape back
✨ Shoulders are getting stronger
✨ Glutes are getting rounder

But I still catch myself picking apart the photos because the results don’t feel “fast enough.”

The truth is… real change takes time, consistency, and patience.
Big transformations don’t happen overnight and they definitely don’t happen in just 9 weeks.

Those 9 weeks are there to help build routines, habits, confidence, and consistency that you can actually stick to long term 💪

Keep showing up. The results will come.
