Today has seen Social Care brought to the front and centre, as the Prime Minister delivered his speech on the reforms needed and his personal mission to make Social Care more sustainable as we move into the future.

For too long Care Workers have been pushed to the breaking point by low pay, while Local Authorities have wrestled with tightening budgets.

This might just be the start of change, and we want to help what follows.

The theme for the week has been action; taking action to build towards a mentally healthier society.

Action can be for yourself, by creating a new habit, or dropping an old one.

Action can be on behalf of someone else, discussing their mental health with them, providing support and encouraging them to act.

We hope you have the opportunity to reflect, and to take a moment to prioritise your mental health.

We were recently at the NHS, Early Years and Social Care careers events hosted by . These events were for a small selection of organisations to have conversations with students and teachers, answering their questions about Social Care and giving them some insight into the roles and opportunities available within the industry.

It was a fantastic couple of days, thank you for hosting us!
