Bone broth is one of the simplest ways to support your body at a foundational level.
When prepared properly, it provides collagen, amino acids like glycine, and minerals in a form your body can actually use.
It may support:
– Gut lining and digestion
– Skin, hair and joint health
– Immune resilience
– Energy and blood sugar balance
Simple method:
Add a a mix of chicken bones and meat to a pot, cover with water, and add a small amount of apple c***r vinegar. This helps draw more collagen, gelatin, and minerals (like calcium and magnesium) from the bones, resulting in a more nutritious and gelatinous broth.
Add onion, carrot, celery — and you can also include leeks, ginger, garlic, and fresh herbs for extra flavour and benefit.
Simmer gently for 4–6+ hours, strain, and store.
You’ll know it’s a good broth when it sets like jelly once cooled — a sign of its natural collagen content.
If you’re working on gut health, fatigue, or overall balance, this is something I often include within personalised naturopathic support. Message me if you’d like guidance tailored to you.
